چکیده

T ( H r l i p p p r a linical cardiac electrophysiology and cardiac pacing have erged into a common cardiac subspecialty discipline. Comlex cardiac arrhythmias are managed by physicians with pecial expertise in cardiac electrophysiology, the use of cardiac mplantable electrical devices (CIEDs), and the application of ther interventional ablative techniques and pharmacologic reatments. Cardiac implantable electronic devices is a term sed to encompass implantable cardioverter-defibrillators ICDs), pacemakers, cardiac resynchronization therapy CRT) devices, implantable hemodynamic monitors IHMs), and implantable loop recorders (ILRs). For puroses of this document, IHMs and ILRs, while legitimately onsidered CIEDs, are excluded, and implantation numbers or these should not be considered as satisfying minimum raining requirements. The current Task Force is charged with updating previously ublished adult clinical cardiac electrophysiology training uidelines (1–4) based on changes in the cardiac electrophysology field since the last revision (4). The number of proceures recommended for each level is a consensus based on ublished guidelines and competency statements and assumes m raining by an appropriately trained mentor and documentaion of satisfactory completion of such training by the program irector. The number of procedures and duration of training re summarized in Tables 1 and 2.

The management of arrhythmias detected by implantable cardiac devices can be challenging. There are no formal international guidelines to inform decision-making. The purpose of this European Heart Rhythm Association (EHRA) survey was to assess the management of various clinical scenarios among members of the EHRA electrophysiology research network. There were 49 responses to the questionnaire. ...
